http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/a/a/0/event_61251872.jpegFull Moon Hikes are your opportunity to have a deeper experience in nature and witness the rising moon. Not your ordinary hike! We will take time for contemplation and reflection as well as creating community while exploring the pine forest and open vistas of the Springbrook trail and Sky Mesa. Probably not a snowshoe, but be prepared for weather and slick conditions. 4 miles, easy pace.

All full moon explorations are free, but donations greatly appreciated. Plan for cold (layers, gloves, hats, warm boots), bring water and a willingness to explore. Poles, flashlights and cameras optional, warm drinks or snacks to share if you desire. Outings are generally 2-3 hours, with time for reflection, discovery and exploration.

We'll be hiking from the Dowdy Draw Trailhead, 1.8 miles west of Highway 93 on Eldorado Springs Drive (Highway 170). For directions see map: http://www.bouldercolorado.gov/index.php?op... (http://www.bouldercolorado.gov/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3000&Itemid=1035)
