Writer's Excursion in Joshua Tree Park (All Styles/Levels) Mindful/Creative

Details
[JOSHUA TREE EXCURSION DETAILS]
Sep. 27th is National Public Lands Day
It is one of 6 days in the year where all National Parks are FREE entrance
We will have a moment at the beginning, middle, and end for writing practice, setting intentions, reflections on self + nature, socializing, and relaxing together. This is a day trip to the park to appreciate nature and allow its beauty to inspire/reflect.
There may not always be phone service, so for those attending late, please let me know in advance, so I can help coordinate with you.
Anyone is welcome to get there earlier or stay later, as it is a free day, so enjoy it however you may.
*Carpooling into the park is always recommended.
*We can meet outside of the park to either convoy or carpool.
*For those attending, there will be some walking, hiking, and going around rocks/cactus/etc. Please wear outdoor footwear, bring water/snacks & anything for skin protection.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email thepathlesswritten@gmail.com or send a message on our Instagram
[ABOUT TPLW]
The Path Less Written (TPLW) is a community that blends those who love to write/journal with those who find peace & happiness by being outdoors in nature.
Please dress according to the location & the day's weather.
- Our meetings will always take place in natural settings, such as parks, gardens, trails, patios, & more.
- For the writing portion, it will be semi-guided to challenge your creative thoughts, but you are always welcome to write your heart's desire.
- Guided practice will vary from suggested themes, affirmations, prompts, vocabulary (word of the day), and other possibilities.
- This is primarily a focus on journaling, but for those who write poetry, stories, copywriting, advertisement/marketing, editorials, or blogs, this is definitely a space for you to hone your skills and maintain a strong practice.
Above all, this is about self-improvement, mindfulness, fresh air, & connecting with positive-minded people.
We are free-thinkers who choose The Path Less Written!
