"Responsibility for Personal and Spiritual Growth"
The whole purpose of men and women manifesting as mortal beings consists of taking the first steps in the attainment of knowledge and in gradually developing their characters and nature to harmonize with the fully unfolded spiritual state. This duty encompasses the entire conduct of humankind, mentally, morally, and spiritually.

Deb grew up with things of a supernatural flair. Her great great grandmother Carey was known as “The Witch of Saltonstall Street”. At least according to the school children who had to walk past her house to and from school. Well, she did have a lot of cats and her small cottage was kind of spooky. She also read cards and taught Deb’s grandmother how to read them. Deb used to love having her Nana read her cards. But her grandmother was very superstitious and if anything negative came up she would immediately shut it down and light a candle. She also lit candles during thunderstorms “to keep the evil spirits away”.
As she grew older her interest in religious traditions deepened and she explored many eventually becoming involved in Spiritualism. She moved to Lily Dale, NY and studied with many mediums and healers including Bob Bens, founder of the Path of Greensboro, NC, Deb’s experiences living in Lily Dale offered her the opportunity to develop her talents as a medium and healer.
