Do you want to check out some awesome places around St. Pete and meet some new frands between the ages of 21-49? Congrats you're in the right place.
After putting together events for years I have compiled a list of 7 Commandments that will help this group stay awesome.
Let us reflect on the Top 7 Commandments of thine Pinellas County Young "Professionals"
1. Thou shall abide by the Golden Rule - Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Also know as don't be a dick, we don't need that sort of energy at our events.
2. Thou shall wear thine nametag. Not all events will have nametags but it's nice to know who's part of the group when one of our happy hour events is a banger.
3. Thou shall contribute somehow - Whether it's buying someone a drink, giving out a compliment, volunteering to host events, just having an idea for events, maybe just showing up and being a good listener.
4. Thou shall not violate someone's physical space. Both sexual and violent behavior might get you kicked in the nuts and then kicked out of the group.
5. Thou shall try their hardest to honor your RSVP and cancel if you can't make it.
6. Thou shall have the courage to show up to an event. The hardest part is showing up! I understand it can be intimidating just showing up to meet new people. After going to hundreds of events I still feel that way sometimes. It's easy to talk yourself out of it but instead JUST DO IT!!!
7. Thou shall be accepting of other cultures and lifestyles. This group is full of people from all different parts of the US and world. Be kind to everyone even if you don't understand their culture or background.
