Paddle Meetup 5 - Reggae Rise Up

After talking to some folks who paddled to the Thursday/Friday shows it sounds like Coffee Pot can get a pretty strong current going in the afternoon that makes the trip back tough. It seems like Demens landing is a shorter less difficult paddle, so let’s meet there. The launch is at the very end of the little peninsula.

We are going to paddle to Vinoy to listen to some of the festival from the water. Bring lunch, snacks, water, whatever for an extended period of hanging out on the water. It’s about 1 mile each way so not a great workout paddle unless we get Caledessi style winds. Feel free to come and go at will. Happy to share my contact info to try and find each other on the water if you choose to launch at a different time. I assume there will be lots of water traffic due to the festival so may need to be agile with where we float. Maybe we need to bring ropes to tie ourselves together?
