St. Pattys Day Primitive Camping on Shell Key Island

Details
Too long didn’t read - march 17 island camping, $50 for ferry from ft desoto, bring firewood food and dranks. Leaves 2pm Friday comes back 1pm Saturday.
Shell Key primitive camping is perfect when it's not super hot out. They allow permits to camp and have a bonfire on the beach about half of the year.
There’s no campsites, you just pick a spot on the beach - preferably where it looks safest to shit in the woods if need be.
Its $50 for the permit which ill pay for. you can contribute towards if you want or just bring good food for me to eat.
The only real expense is the $35 for your ferry ticket over to the island. This is there and back and also includes the parking in their lot.
Where else can you camp and get drunk while having a mother effin bon fire on the beach? It's also world wide pretend to be Irish day so maybe bring some guinness or jameson to drink or potatoes or whatever Irish people eat.
Technically you're not supposed to bring booze or drugs or fun to the island but that's one of those rules thats meant to be bent a little. I think what they're trying to say is don't be a piece of shit and leave it worse than you found it. Just bring whatever you need to survive for 23 hours and we'll clean up before we go cause we some responsible ass overachieving adults.
We'll need a decent amount of firewood. I'll bring some but would be great if a few other people grabbed a bundle too so we can keep that shit going all night. It's heavy but the ferry pulls right onto the beach so you don't have to carry it too far. Also you can drop it off right by ferry before you park.
We're gonna leave on the last ferry on Friday at 2pm and come back on the 1pm the next day. Maybe plan on arriving a bit early and allow time to unload and park cause if you miss it you're fucked.
Things to bring - light camping gear, fire wood, easy to carry drinks and mixers, pre made food/snacks or something to cook on fire. I may put together some hobo meals- veggies wrapped in foil to throw in fire.
