FIGURE DRAWING TRIAL RUN - MAKE FRIENDS WHILE YOU SKETCH

Join us for a relaxing clothed figure drawing session designed to help you unwind ahead of a busy week and enjoy the joy of sketching whilst making new friends. This is more than just a drawing event—it’s a chance to connect with people in a calm, friendly environment.

This is a clothed figure drawing event. No nudity present. Fashion enthusiasts who want to hone in on their skills can join in. Artists looking for a freestyle, calm environment to build on their technique are welcome. It would be even better if you knew very little about figure /life drawing and would like to try your hands on a new experience and make new friends. Do not be too hard on your drawing skills - you will never know what you are good st until you give it a try. Come solo if you please. Your new bestie is one sketch away. Bring your own drawing materials (pencils, crayons, pastels, charcoal, sketchbook, notebook) if you prefer, or use some of the supplies we’ll have available. This event is free as it is a trial run.

Cherry Reds Cafe Bar is a lovely independent bar with a delectable variety of meals and drinks from beer to wine to cocktails. They also have warm beverages such as tea and the famous bailey latte.
Feel free to purchase any drink of your choice, Little snacks would be provided.

What to expect: Once ushered in, we would start with an icebreaker to introduce each other and chat away for a few minutes. Then the drawing begins. There would be a break in between so you can say hi to other people in the room.

We have our lovely Beth as the life model for this session. She will be doing short poses from 5-15 minutes so you can capture as many favourite poses as you wish. At the end of the drawing session, you will be expected to upload your work on our online album for memory's sake ( this will be private to only attendees and you can decline to do so if you wish).
