Cheese and crackers! And drinks. And people. Listen. It's all about the people, alright? I'm just putting up a time and place. It's casual. I'm making a space for people. That's all this is. A time, a place, some lighting. And it will be what it will be. Who can know? Over time, we'll develop a culture and an identity. We'll get into a flow of interaction. We'll know each other. This is not a business space. Do not show up wearing gray. Unless gray is your jam.

Broad Strokes:

  1. Open conversation. Meeting people. Nametags. History. What you're looking for. What's on your mind. Sharing inspirations and ideas. Film happenings. Poetics and attitudes and real good-old-fashioned fresh-outta-the-oven honest-to-goodness-and-badness human expression, if you can manage it. Looking for people that click.
  2. Small groups (three to four people). What're you working on? Focused review and feedback. Details. Long-form conversation. Incision.
  3. Closing remarks. Feedback on the group. Ideas for future gathering spots and formats.

RSVP Required. Once I have a better idea of how many people intend to show up, then I can snag a gathering spot.
