Your Burning Philosophical Question for 2026?
Details
The coming of the New Year gives us time to pause on which philosophical issues keep us up at night. Which philosophical quandaries remain unanswered for you and for which you would like to spend time on this year? Look into your mind and come with your burning unanswered questions to our first Meetup for the year. We will tap into our collective consciousness to see what we come up with.
To get your thinking juices flowing, your questions may arise in one or more of these areas of philosophical enquiry:
• moral philosophy (what is morality about?,
moral principles)
• political philosophy (political authority, political structures)
• metaphysics (what fundamentally exists?, nature of mind, free will)
• philosophy of religion (nature of god, relation to humans)
• philosophy of knowledge (nature of truth? confirmation)
• philosophy of aesthetics (what is art?, art evaluation)
Put your burning questions in the chat so that we can do some filtering before the session starts.
