Philosophy and climate change
The ethics of climate change are a murky and complicated space with numerous completing interests across the entire world. This talk will begin by covering the moral consequences of climate change- and failing to act on climate change.
It will then examine the validity of the skeptical argument against climate change from a philosophical perspective.
Finally, given the stalemate the world finds itself in around this important issue, this talk will examine the role that philosophy and ethics may play in motivating action against the effects of climate change and the associated moral consequences.
