Winter Reading Group on Plato's Dialogues (information post only)

Dear philosophers,

This post is informational to see how many members are interested in a winter/spring reading group that will cover a multiple of Plato's dialogues (we will cover at least 5 dialogues, possibly more).

There is no event taking place on New Year's eve at 2pm ha ha. But if you think you would be interested in coming out to read some of Plato's dialogues please click "attending" on this post so I can see how many folks are interested and then plan accordingly.

As it is the winter months, these will probably take place as lunch events with limited seating, but I can plan things such that everyone gets the opportunity to attend at least a few of the meetings. So it would be helpful to me at this stage to see how many of you are interested in doing a deep dive on Plato.

All readings would be available online (no book purchase is required), and Plato's writings take the form of a dialogue between Socrates and various interlocutors, making them a pretty accessible read. If you think you are up for warming up to Plato over the cold winter months, click "attending" to express interest, and then events will be posted closer to the New Year.
