Aging and Longevity Science (the Tale)

I don't typically post events that address issues closely related to my academic research, let alone my own work. But some members expressed an interest in my latest book Aging and the Ethics of Longevity Science (which was just published this month with Oxford University Press). So I thought I would do an event to discuss that project.

If you are interested to learn a bit about the book, below I link to the Introduction chapter, which covers the central framing of the book (described as The Tale), which explains the health challenges facing the world's aging populations (i.e. a growing gap between healthspan and lifespan).

Reading the intro chapter and watching those short videos should provide sufficient material for having some discussion and debate on the topic of what should we want medical science to deliver for today's aging populations? Even if you don't have time to read or watch (its posted on short notice) feel free to come along to discuss aging and science. Hope to see some of you there.
