Welcome to the Phoenyx Phrolic! This is our signature event. A gathering of trans folk to explore exactly what pleasure can mean for us. The focus of these events is to give our community a space to interact with one another in an incredibly intimate way; to help each other learn the joys our bodies (and minds) can experience; to explore new and fascinating pleasures; to introduce more love, kindness, sexiness, pleasure, joy, peace, and all kinds of other great thing into our lives; and to unlearn all the negative things we've been taught we should feel about our bodies and our sex. We deserve it!

Please pay $10 for this event by sending Venmo to @PhoenyxNest with your name and the words "Phoenyx Phrolic {DATE}" in the description. Alternatively, you can pay cash at the door. This money covers the cost of covid tests, masks, barriers, lube and snacks.

**This Phrolic will be a bit different, with trans artists sketching, painting, and even writing about the activities at the event. More details about this element are forthcoming.**

A few important details:

* Doors open at 5:00pm, but the event begins at 6:00pm. This will allow for people to arrive, take a covid test, and begin to mingle a bit before we get started. There is no re-admittance or arrivals after doors close.
* These parties are drug/alcohol free (with the exception of THC).
* CONSENT IS A MUST! While attendance implies consent to see and be seen, that is the only bit that can be assumed. Unless you have negotiated a scene ahead of time, make sure you explicitly ask for consent before engaging with someone. Ask to engage. Ask to introduce a new element. Ask before doing a new thing. If you're going to interact with someone at this level of intimacy, you should respect them enough to want to keep them safe.
* Attendance to the party implies consent to observe sexual activity and to be observed during your own sexual activity. This is very important. I do not want this to come as a surprise to anyone.
* There are three separate rooms for play, and one neutral room where sex is not allowed. The bathroom is also a no-sex zone.
* We use a stoplight bracelet system to allow for people to indicate their level of interest in being approached to ask for consent from others.
* Your future participation is dependent upon your current ability to demonstrate respectful behavior at this one. If you feel you'd like a refresher on what that behavior looks like, please reach out. Any of the organizers in this group will be happy to provide you resources.

The Stoplight Bracelet System:

* RED - Do not approach me to play, I will approach others to initiate if I want to.
* YELLOW - You may approach me if we have a previously established relationship.
* GREEN - Anyone may approach me to ask consent.
* Again, consent is essential. These bracelets are intended to give an idea who you may approach to ask for consent. They do not imply consent for anything beyond that.
* If you cannot see someone's bracelet, you may feel free to ask them what color they are wearing, or otherwise engage in platonic conversation.
* You may change the color of your bracelet at any point in the party.
* Finally, the color of your own bracelet does not restrict your ability to approach others, as long as you respect what color they are wearing.

The Rooms:

* Two rooms are for more intense play like impact play, e-stim, more intense bdsm, and anything else that runs the risk of negatively interacting with other participants' trauma. If a safe word is a must, this is the room for your activity.
* One room is for less intense play. Intense in "holy shit, is that a ring gag and an E-stim wand?" kind of way; not a "Your tongue had me screaming in a whole new octave" kind of way.
* Each of the rooms will be dimly lit, and will have instrumental music intended to add background noise and perhaps set a sexy mood.

Covid Precautions:
Every participant will be tested at the door before admittance. Once the test has been administered you will be allowed into the house wearing a mask (provided). Once your test results return you will either be asked to leave (if it’s positive) or allowed to stay, unmasked (if it’s negative). If you’re asked to leave you will be issued a refund.

Accessibility info:

* First floor apartment with two stairs (no railing)
* Bathroom is open but around two corners, so not the easiest to get to
* There are a dog and cats who live in the house and will likely be present
* There are no scented air fresheners in use
* Lighting will be kept minimal
* Music will be played in each room and kept at a low volume for ambiance
* Parking is available both behind the house (please save these spots for individuals who need the shorter walking distance) and on the street in front of the house
* Access to the apartment is **behind** the house. The front door is not an entrance for the event
