Donegal Town Festive Lights Photo Walk

About the Event
Join us for an evening photo walk through Donegal Town to capture the festive lights, reflections, and atmosphere as the sun sets. This one is shorter and more social than our usual trail walks, with plenty of opportunities for low-light and night photography.

We’ll start at The Diamond, wander through the main streets and harbour area, and finish with a warm drink nearby. It’s a relaxed evening, perfect for practicing handheld night shots and trying out creative compositions with lights and reflections.

You don’t need special gear — just a camera or phone that can handle lower light. Bring a small tripod or steady surface if you want to try longer exposures.

Meeting Point
Meet at The Diamond beside the Christmas tree at 4:00 pm. We’ll take a slow loop through town and along the harbour, finishing around 6:00 pm with a coffee or pint in a nearby café or pub.

If the weather turns bad, we’ll stay close to the town centre so we can shelter easily and still get plenty of good shots.
