City Photography with Bruce Leighty

For the first Zoom program night of 2022, Elgin Area Camera Club welcomes back Bruce Leighty on Tuesday, January 11 at 7pm. Bruce’s topic this time is City Photography. He will explain the What, How and When of City Photography and discuss the challenge of how to be different with often photographed subjects.

Bruce brings over 40 years photographic experience with extensive work in studio, specialized assignments, portraiture, photojournalism, sports, travel and nature photography to his subject matter. He is currently Editor at Examiner Publications Inc in Barlett and is a Stock Photographer for international stock agencies Getty Images, Alamy Images and Adobe Stock.

He is an outstanding communicator and has taught photography through workshops and classroom instruction.

Previously he was the owner at Leighty’s Creative Images where he created, directed and operated assignment and location photo studio
