Portrait Workshop for beginners

Like to learn more about portrait photography? We’re hosting a workshop with one of our resident models, Tamyka.

We will cover portrait lighting basics, how to control light, using reflectors to add and subtract light to create flattering lighting effects. Techniques covered will include studio beauty lighting, lifestyle portraits and edgy lighting using gels.

This is a great chance to learn about working with your subject in a collaborative way to produce great images.
We recommend bringing a DSLR/Mirrorless camera with a 35mm, 50mm or 85mm lens or zoom lens with similar focal length.

All lighting equipment is provided at the studio and trigger compatible with cameras with a standard size hotshoe.
