For the October meeting, we will revisit a Williams novel that has been a favorite of his for several of us, fittingly All Hallows Eve. We'll look forward to digging into the depths of of the borderland between life and death and between magical power and the more true realm of charity and self-sacrifice, as well as the near-yet-far quality of all relationship epitomized in the wife and husband. as we settle deeper into the waning light and quasi-numinous, thicker air of Fall.
