Hike Bray Head & Christmas Lunch in The Happy Pear

Join us for a last-minute Festive Meetup :) The forecast is for good weather so we will hike up Bray Head and then on to The Happy Pear for Christmas Lunch. They are doing a vegan wellington with roast veg, stuffing and cranberry sauce and plan to have it available all the way up to 3PM on Christmas Eve. Lots of other options too!

We'll leave at 10:20 AM sharp from Bray DART station. Please arrive on time, as we may not be contactable out on the hike. It is up to individual members to catch up if arriving late.

If you have mobility issues, or if you haven't hiked before, this won't be one for you. It is the responsibility of individual member to keep pace - the Bray Head part is short but pretty steep! But you could take the DART to Greystones (next stop after Bray) and meet us at the Happy Pear. All going well, we should arrive around 12:30 PM. They close at 3 PM for Christmas but we can head across the road to Mrs Robinson's if anyone fancies a Christmas tipple.

If you want to invite someone along as a +1, their behaviour will be your responsibility. Remember: all members are to be treated with respect and kindness regardless of social background.

Runners and jeans not advised. The trails can be quite muddy, especially after rain. Hiking boots recommended.

The Happy Pear have lots of information here. Please have the courtesy to change your RSVP and get in touch if you can't make it. Multiple no-shows means members will unfortunately have to be removed from the group.
