Adventure Hike Back To The 1920's

Details
This will a TWO part hike, suitable for both beginners and intermediates. Part 1 (beginners) will consist of hiking 1.75 on the Las Llajas Canyon trail, then saying "Adios" to the intermediates and then retracing your steps back to your autos for a total of 3.5 miles. Part 2 is where we head back in time and start the real climbing (approx. 700' in 1.25 miles), our destination is an abandoned lime mining operation from the 1920's and a remarkably intact power shovel from that time period. We will then take a break, share some snacks and beverages (so that means bring snacks and beverages to share!) and take in the sunset before returning to our autos.
