Slow Pokes Who Want to Hike the Chumash Trail in Simi at 6:30pm

Details

High winds, fire, rain will cancel this hike.

We are sort of teaming up with WhereAmEye (Tall Mark), although he won't know it until he sees this post. Mark is the fast dude and has been doing the Chumash Trail hike every Thursday since the Jurassic Period. If you prefer a faster paced hike, go with Mark's group. They start at 6:00pm. We may or may not see them, but if we do, they will be heading down and we will turn around and head down with them.

They are going to the top, we are not. Our hike is about 3.5 - 4 miles, out and back on a single track trail, rugged at times, with an elevation gain of 750'+'.

The trail is mostly a steady climb going up. We will take it slow and steady and take breaks when needed.
