Brahms Requiem Choral concert in Oak Park

Details
Calling all classical concert enthusiasts!
Stressed from work etc? Time to enjoy, relaxing choral piece performed all over the world since the late 1800's.
I have been singing with Conejo Choral Society for a few years now. There are other concert times if interested, just posting the Saturday time here.
This is a self led event and shared in case you are interested as I will be busy singing. Please invite a friend or family member to come with you or make arrangements with those who sign up to attend.
Brahms Requiem was written between 1865-1868 as a memorial to his mother. Summarizing his words: Most requiems are for those who have passed but he wrote this for the living or those left behind, which is why he called it a Requiem for the Living. It is also called a German Requiem in that it is not in Latin but entirely sung in German.
Tickets are now on sale. They do sell out and they no longer sell tickets at the door because the venue is small. Purchase your tickets ahead of time if you want to attend.
