This is an easy 2-3 mile walk on the beach with minimal gain, maybe 20'. Sunset is at 7:36 and the last light is at 8:00. Bring your flashlights just in case.

This is not Point Dume. The start time is at 6:00pm

We'll meet on the beach in front of the "Aloha Beach Camp", which will be closed but it's one of the few places with an actual address on Zuma Beach. There's pay parking in the lot (probably about $3 at that hour), Carpooling is recommended. The alternative is the free Zuma parking alongside southbound Pacific Coast Hwy, which was wide open last time we tried this.

After the hike, let's catch a bite to eat at Spruzzo's. They close at 9pm so let's try to get there by 8:30.

Known Dangers: Sea monsters, drowning, frisbee impact, cold feet, tsunami

Please don't sign up for this hike if you have other plans after. The end time is approximate only.

My hikes are casual and slower paced (1.5-2 mph), we take breaks, and we explore.
