Sunset Hills / Bard Lake, Thousand Oaks

Details
Join me on a quick paced scenic evening hike that will be semi exploratory in that I have not hiked this trail much recently. There should still be lots of yellow mustard and possibly other wildflowers to see still.
The actual hike on All Trails says it is 3.9 miles
but I would possibly like to extend it to more like 5, depending on how much faster and longer we want to go and if someone else in the group is more familiar with the trail and can guide us we definitely can go for longer if the group prefers.

The Sunset Hills trailhead on Erbes is located about half way between Olsen Road and Sunset Hills Blvd. It’s a dirt parking lot with no sign and the street lights are kind of dim. You’ll need to follow the directions carefully if you haven’t hiked this trail. You can easily miss the turn into the dirt parking lot if you're not paying attention.
