Aliso Canyon Park - Granada Hills

Details

This is an easy 3.5-mile hike (out and back) with an elevation gain of about 370'.

Aliso Canyon is a shaded forest area with wildflowers and a fairy house. Before turning around, there is kind-of a steep hill, but at the top are great views. Those who don't want to hike the hill can wait below.

We will meet in the Aliso Canyon Park parking lot at 6:00 and start promptly at 6:05.

Sunset is at 8:04pm and last light is 8:32pm. The parking lot closes at dusk but we should be back before then. If you feel uncomfortable parking there, you can find parking farther up on the street on Rinaldi (don’t park at no-parking signs), or in the nearby residential neighborhood along Chimineas Ave (address below).

NOTE
Please don't sign up for this hike if you have other plans after. The end time is approximate only. My hikes are casual and slower paced (1.5-2 mph), we take breaks, and we explore.
