Last-Minute Evening Hike! Wednesday. Harmon Canyon. Ventura Hills. 6 PM. 🌞🌊🥾

Join me for ocean views and cooler hiking! This is a shorter, moderate loop hike in beautiful Harmon Canyon, with great ocean views at the midpoint. Low 70s, ocean breezes... perfect hiking conditions!

We'll take the single-track canyon trails up Harmon Canyon to just below the closure, then come back down the fire road to return to the parking lot. If it's clear the views are spectacular, with the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands spread out below.

* Distance: ~ 4 miles
* Terrain: Single-track up, fire road back
* Time: 6PM start
* Duration: ~1.5 - 2 hours
* Elevation: ~500'
* Difficulty: Moderate due to pace and climb

We'll take a short break at the midpoint.

Sunset will be at 8:09 PM on July 16th. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp just in case.

* Weather: Adverse Weather conditions will cancel the hike. Come prepared with a light layer if you get chilled easily.
* Known Dangers: Rattlesnakes, poison oak, possibility to slip and fall.
* Bring: Flashlight/headlamp, snack if you need it, a light layer, lots of water.

Event will cancel if on the day of the hike less than two besides the leader is signed up.
