Conejo Mountain Hike at Dos Vientos

Let's hike out in Dos Vientos! It may be dark on the way back so be prepared!
Distance: 6 miles
Elevation Gain: 1300'
Difficulty: Intermediate due to pace and distance
Dogs: No
Restrooms: Yes only if the community center is open
Water Fountain: Yes at trailhead
Parking: Free, Community Center parking lot. We park on the field side by the outside courts.
Trail: Out and back
We will start from the Dos Vientos Community Center and take a round about way.
Sunset: 7:18pm
Weather: Unusual weather, rain or windy conditions may cancel the hike
Also will cancel if less than 2 others besides myself are signed up 2 hours before the hike.
Known Dangers: Rattlesnakes, slip-'n-fall, poison oak can be on this hike
Bring: Plenty of water, a light layer in case it is chilly on the way back, a light and optional snack, hat or sunglasses, wear proper hiking shoes and bring poles if you need to.
I suggest 2-3 liters of water and always good to bring more than you need of anything to practice carrying it.
