Conejo Valley Choral Society concert in Oak Park
Details
Calling all classical concert enthusiasts!
Stressed from work etc? Time to come listen and enjoy, relaxing choral pieces.
I have been singing with Conejo Choral Society for a few years now. There are other concert times if interested, just posting the Saturday time here that I will be singing in along with some other concert choices on the ticket purchase link. The orchestra is a talented local youth orchestra.
This is a self led event and shared in case you are interested as I will be busy singing. Please invite a friend or family member to come with you or make arrangements with those who sign up to attend to sit together.
- First a classical choir piece: Psalm 42 (sung in German)
- Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1809-1847) wrote many well known works
- Second a more modern piece: Lux Aeterna (sung in Latin)
- Morten Lauridsen Originally wrote Lux Aeterna for the Los Angeles Master Chorale in 1997 and is still alive today
Tickets are now on sale. They do sell out and they no longer sell tickets at the door because the venue is small. Purchase your tickets ahead of time if you want to attend.
