Ventura Hike & Snack Share | Gorgeous Sunset & Ocean Views. 🌅🍿🥾

Let's do a 4.5 out-and-back up a ridge to a 360° view in lovely Ventura. Ocean for miles! Ogle the Channel Islands! Let's get some exercise while experiencing the unique beauty of southern California.

It's an out-and-back up a ridge to a stunning ocean view. There are opportunities for gorgeous sunset photos and a chance to see the power of erosion on the surrounding ridges.

If you'd like to bring a snack to share, we can sit at the top and relax for about 10-15 minutes as we watch the sun descend. Bring a headlamp or a charged phone, as the sun will have set before we return to our vehicles.

* Difficulty: Moderate

* Parking: Free, on-street parking. Park on the north side of the road where the trailhead is.
* Dogs: No
* Water: No
* Toilet: No
Sunset will be at 5:09 PM on Wednesday. Bring a headlamp or charged phone to light your way as we descend.
* Weather: Adverse weather or fire danger conditions will cancel the hike. Come prepared with a light layer if you get chilled easily.
* Known Dangers: Rattlesnakes, poison oak, possibility to slip and fall.
* Bring: Snack to share at the top, a light layer, lots of water.

Event may cancel if on the day of the hike fewer than two besides the leader is signed up.
