Hidden Meadows Trail to Oakbrook Edison Road to Power Tower #6 - Westlake
Details
Wildflower hunting we will go, and the Hidden Meadows trail usually does not disappoint.
The Hike
My hikes are slow paced (1.5-2 mph) and the listed end time is only an estimate. We take breaks, we explore, and we don't leave anyone behind. If this hike isn't for you, please find another that best suits your needs.
This is moderate 4-mile hike, doable for fit beginners, with an elevation gain of about 700'. The trail is a continuous uphill trek (sometimes gradual and sometimes a little steeper) following the powerlines to our destination, power tower #6. Here we will take a break and admire the views.
Let's meet at 6:00pm at the Hidden Meadows trailhead at the end of Falling Star Ave.
