The Last Minute - Last Chance Hike

This hike worked so well last week, I decided to do it again!
I might change the route at the last minute to a somewhat longer hike, but ONLY after seeing who shows up and what WE as a group feel up to doing.
Today will be your last chance "ever" to hike on August 21, 2026!!! Just think about that, once it is lost, it is gone forever. If your calendar is empty and you haven't hiked as much as you would have liked to yet this month or year, here is your chance!!!

The hike is a not too difficult 4.5 mile loop with quite a bit of shade.
Along the way there is this giant picnic table that you see in the above photo, which is a great spot for photos and a quick break before the climb to a beautiful overlook. From there we will decend and after about a mile find ourselves in a beautiful oak forest, then back to our cars for the "next thing", whatever that happens to be 🌮🍜🍦🚀🧸🍔🍕🛀🛌

As a note, these Friday Last Minute Hikes are a placeholder for FB Bill's Friday hikes while he is away enjoying life...I for one look forward to his return!

If you will be driving North on the 101, get off on Moorpark Rd and turn left. Turn right on Greenmeadow Dr and drive to the Greenmeadow Parking lot.

If you will be driving South on the 101, exit at Moorpark Rd (DO NOT exit at Lynn Road) and turn right. Turn right on Greenmeadow Dr and drive to the Greenmeadow Parking lot.
Bring a snack (optional) for the break at the Overlook.
Sunset: 7:35 p.m.
