Details

This is an easy 4+ mile hike, out and back, with an elevation gain of about 300'.
Meet me at the bridge adjacent to the dirt parking lot at 6:00, we will wait five minutes.
Directions

Driving Directions
From Moorpark Road in the Santa Rosa Valley, drive west on Santa Rosa Road for about 3.7 miles, turn left (south) on Hill Canyon Road and continue for 1/2 mile to the dirt parking lot to the left across from the bridge.

From the 101 Freeway in Camarillo, take exit 52 onto
Santa Rosa Road and drive northeast. After about 5 miles, turn right onto Hill Canyon Rd. and continue for 1/2 mile to the dirt parking lot to the left across from the bridge.

  • Ventura County SARS 10 Essentials
  • Bring 2 liters of water, flashlights, snacks, electrolytes
  • Bring your hiking poles if needed.
  • Wear good hiking shoes or boots
  • Dress accordingly and be prepared for cooler weather.
  • I recommend wearing a whistle.
  • Pesky insects? bring bug spray.

  • My hikes are slow paced (1.5-2 mph)

  • As a team, we take breaks, explore and we don't leave anyone behind
  • As hikers, we enjoy listening to the symphony of nature. You are more than welcome to play music as long as you are wearing headphones
