Sunset on Mt Hollywood

Details
This is a sequel to our recent hike to the Hollywood sign on Mt Lee, and will take place at the neighboring pile of rocks. We'll start from the Trails Cafe (http://www.thetrailslosfeliz.com) (it's a link! click it to see a pic of the cafe), ascend not far from the beautiful Griffith Observatory (http://www.griffithobs.org) (read previous parenthetical comment), and end up on the expansive summit with a commanding view of not only the Hollywood sign, but also the city of Los Angeles and the Pacific, where we will watch the sun set as our spirits rise.
Total Distance: 4.6 miles
Elevation Gain: 937 feet
Sunset: 5:12 pm
Difficulty: Intermediate
I will reschedule if it rains.
Please note that this hike is significantly more demanding than the hike we did to the H'wood sign, though a strong beginner should be OK if you pace yourself. Please know your limits.
Known Dangers: Slip 'n fall. This trail is so well-traveled I doubt there will be any encounters with wild things, though that is always possible.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION: While it may look convenient, do NOT park in the lot by the Trails Cafe inside Griffith Park. If you do, you will be the proud recipient of a parking ticket by the time you reach your car since parking is not allowed after sunset. The City of Los Angeles provided this information to me at a cost of $67, but I offer it to you for free because I'm such a fabulous guy.
PMH member Shelly Brown, who lives in this area, kindly informs me that you can probably find street parking on Franklin, or alternatively, at the Greek Theater not far away at 2700 North Vermont Avenue. In any case, park somewhere else, and then walk into the park at the intersection of Los Feliz and Fern Dell, and just continue up until you find the Trails Cafe.
Please bring water to drink, a camera for pictures, and your good-natured self to socialize.
Here are some pictures that I took when I scouted out this hike in November, beginning with The Sign on neighboring Mt Lee:

Next, we have the Griffith Observatory:

I should have arrived at my parked car at this very instant:
