### Our Mission
Get ready. Our next sketch adventure is happening this [Day of the week], and we want you to be prepared for more than just drawing. We're on a mission to capture the city's energy, connect with other creators, and build momentum for the stories you're dying to tell.
Here’s everything you need to know:
What to Expect
This is not a quiet, formal art class. This is an active, moving expedition. We’re focused on momentum, not perfection. The goal is to get out of our heads, onto the page, and build confidence by finishing something. Expect to walk, talk, and draw in unexpected places. We'll end the session at a local spot to relax, share our work (if you want to), and connect with a crew that actually gets it.
#### The Agenda
- 1:00 PM - 1:15 PM: The Meetup. We’ll meet at [Exact Location, e.g., Carl Schurz Park by the main flag pole]. Quick intros, no fluff, just good to meet you.
- 1:15 PM - 2:30 PM: The Sketch Adventure. We’ll board the [e.g., East 90th St. Ferry]. The challenge? Sketching the city while it's moving. Capture the energy, the people, the skyline. This is where we practice turning chaos into a compelling background.
- 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: The Social Hour. We’ll get off at [e.g., Pier 17] and head to a nearby spot for drinks. Don't worry if you don't drink alcohol. Honestly you can drink anything. This is where we connect, share our sketches, and talk about our goals—the first step in building a real creative community.
#### What to Bring
- Your Gear: A portable sketchbook and your favorite drawing tools (pencils, pens, markers, etc.). Keep it light.
- The Essentials: Your ID (the social hour is at a 21+ venue), a charged phone, and a MetroCard/payment for transit.
- The Mindset: Come ready to explore and experiment. This is for artists who are done making excuses and want to grow.
