This is a trail which involves both steep ascents and descents. There are a few nice viewpoints of the Columbia Gorge with Mount Hood and other regional peaks in sight. The parking area is subject to closures due to extreme wind and weather. For more information, please review the park's website. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recmain/crgnsa/recreation#conditions. T

++ Positive attitude and a spirit for adventure are a must on my hikes!
• Always a good practice to be equipped with The 10 essentials during hikes.
We will stop frequently by creeks, wild-flower meadows, geological marvels and conversation, and not to rush through it. We stay together as a group but spread out as the hike progresses. We will remain in visual contact or stop at trail intersections to ensure everyone is OK. I reserve the right to remove anyone from the hike anytime based on their fitness level, attendance record, incomplete profile, or negative attitude.
- If you are on the going list, and decide to cancel, please change your RSVP to "No" asap. Canceling after 8 pm on on day before hike will result in a no-show on your record.
