Wilson River Trail - 11 Miles

Details
This is an advanced hike due to length, stream crossings and unknown weather conditions. It's been on my bucket list for a few years. With the spring-green, it should be an amazing forest bath!
Because we'll be shuttling a car (6 Miles), the hike will initially be set for 5 participants. If enough RSVP, and a willing person to shuttle a second car, I will open it up to 5 more participants. It's going to take some coordination.
For those who wish to carpool, we will meet at 8:30am at the TriMet Sunset Transit Center. Top Floor/West Side of parking structure. This location offers best chance of parking together.
If you wish to drive alone, you can meet us at the Elk Creek Trailhead - Mile Marker 28 on Hwy 6 by 9:30am.
I will need a second volunteer to offer their car for the 6 mile shuttle in the morning. Please let me know in advance if you're willing to volunteer.
Once we drop a car (or two) off at Jones Creek we will drive back to Elk Creek Trailhead and begin the hike there. 11 miles later, we will finish at the Jones Creek/Tillamook Forest Center and drive back to Elk Creek Trailhead to retrieve other cars.
We will hike at a moderate pace (2mph) with plenty of stops for photo ops.

It will be important to carry rain gear, plenty of food, water and other 10 essentials. It's likely to be muddy in spots with stream crossings. Dry socks and extra shoes are a good idea along with your hiking sticks.
Please carry extra cash to chip in for car pooling gas. $10 per person.
I will be watching weather conditions. The trip will be postponed should we have significant rain or a wind storm. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own safety and comfort.
No parking permit is needed.
Please message me directly with questions and I will clarify with more details in the hike description. Thanks!
