Camping and Hiking Weekend at Olallie Lake Resort

Lets go camping by a beautiful lake with great views of Mt Jefferson. We can hike, fish, paddleboard, tell stories and meet new friends. We will get a campsite or two at Peninsula Campground which was recently reopened. There are several lakes we can hike to including View, Timber, Top and Cigar Lake. We can also hike a short section of the PCT. Bring your paddleboards, rafts, canoes or kayaks and explore the lake. It is stocked, so if you want to catch some fish, then bring your gear.

We will meet at the campground Friday afternoon/evening. Its first come first served, so we may need to do just a little looking to find each other. My favorite site is 18, which is down at the end of the peninsula. Saturday we can hike, float or just relax. There is great swimming and fishing in the mountain lakes as well. On Sunday, we can do another hike, or just mosey on back home. We can also stop for food on the way back.
