Wild Edible Mushroom and Plant Hunting Trip
Details
Day 2 mushroom hunt, same as day 1 (Saturday)
I'm a decent mushroom hunter and know a specific "hunting ground" for golden chanterelles in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and in the area of our destination. If other mushroom hunters have not picked the field clear then I can guarantee we'll find some. The mushroom "patch" is a very steep hill, so it requires good fitness and willingness to crash through brush and get dirty.

Vehicle with high clearance recommended. The road there is paved but has some large cracks in the asphalt to negotiate.
CARPOOLING: Coordinate in comments section if you need a ride or live in the same area as another person attending this event. We will meet at Breakfast at Valerie's in Vancouver at 10am for a quick coffee or bite to go and will coordinate carpooling there. My goal is to take ~12 people with 4 cars. Carpool riders must pay $10 cash for the RT ride.
