PHMG Gear Swap - West Side

Bring out the gear you no longer use to sell, trade or give away for free to other Portland Hiking members. The gear can be anything: hiking, backpacking, camping, snow sports, climbing, etc.

New location: Parking lot for Xplore Food Carts. Look for the old, rusty blue Dodge Dakota truck.

Since this is my first time coordinating an event like this I chose a free outdoor location. If anyone has a free indoor location in mind let me know. If this gear swap is successful we can always do more of them (possibly in other locations around Portland).

The goal of this event is not to make money but to do an old-fashioned hand-me-down community swap to help others get the gear they need to do more great outdoor activities, with the personal benefit of spring cleaning our garages and recycling gear instead of trashing it. That being said if you have valuable gear getting cash for it is OK too.

Everyone can open the trunks of their car/truck and swap gear right there in the parking lot.
