Hike Description:
Falls Creek Falls, a triple plunge of 335 total feet, is one of the most scenic waterfall destinations in the Pacific Northwest. The falls are picturesque even during the summer and become an impressive, roaring, and misty cascade during the wet season. While a trip on the Falls Creek Falls Trail #152A to view the lower two tiers of the waterfall is short and also very popular (see the Falls Creek Falls Hike), a longer hike to the rim above the falls gives you glimpses of the upper tier and takes you along the much less traveled Falls Creek Trail #152, which you can also use to make a quiet loop back to the parking area.

CARPOOLING: We will meet at Gateway Transit Center parking garage at 7:45 am for carpooling. Or people may chose to drive by themselves and meet the group at Trailhead at Falls Creek Falls 9:15 am. If carpooling, we recommended $15 to be paid the driver to share the cost of gas/car/toll.

• Always a good practice to be equipped with The 10 essentials during hikes. Here is the link.

My hiking style is to stop frequently by creeks, wild-flower meadows, geological marvels and conversation, and not to rush through it. We stay together as a group. I give preference to new members, and those with good attendance record and complete profile. I value those who had a very positive impression on me during my previous hike. Please don't feel entitled to a spot. I reserve the right to remove anyone from the hike if there are not a good fitness or social fit with my hikes. Canceling after 8 pm on the the day before hike will result in a no-show on your record.
