Welcome to The Portland Lunar & Planetary Circle, a monthly in-person astrology gathering for seekers, students, and the astro-curious. Each month, we explore the living sky together—its lunations, planetary movements, mythic patterns, and the inner landscapes they awaken.
Whether you’re brand new to astrology or have been studying for years, this circle offers a grounded, insightful space to learn, share, and connect. Our focus is on understanding the cycles shaping both the world and our lives—the Moon’s rhythms, the outer-planet seasons, the subtle thresholds marked by retrogrades, stations, and transits.
Each gathering includes:

Led by Dorje Kirsten, a professional astrologer with nearly two decades of experience in traditional, psychological, evolutionary, and spiritual astrology, the Circle is designed to offer both depth and warmth exploring astrology from diverse and inclusive perspectives.
Our guiding intention is simple:
