Product managers already use AI tools, but most aren’t yet pushing them far enough to automate repeatable work, reduce toil, or offload low-value tasks that drain focus.

In this hands-on Product League workshop, you’ll learn how to design and build effective AI workmates using Google Gemini Gems. The demo uses Gemini, but the framework applies equally to CustomGPTs and Copilot Agents. The goal is to think clearly about what an AI assistant should and should not do and how to make it reliable in real product work.

This is an interactive session where you will build alongside me.

You will learn

  • A practical framework for designing AI workmates
  • How to spot PM tasks suited for automation or delegation
  • How to define an assistant’s role, scope, and guardrails
  • How to structure instructions and context for consistent output
  • One or more working Gemini Gems for your own workflows
  • How the same approach maps to CustomGPTs and Copilot Agents

Who should attend

  • PMs who use AI but want more leverage
  • PMs aiming to cut busywork and protect thinking time
  • Product leaders seeking scalable AI practices

No prior assistant-building experience needed. You only need a Google account and a willingness to experiment.
