We are a community of authors, small publishers, led by Shahid Mahmud, founder and CEO of Arc Manor, one of the most respected small presses in science fiction and fantasy.
With nearly two decades of publishing experience, Shahid has published some of the biggest names in the speculative industry—including Robert A. Heinlein, George R.R. Martin, Mercedes Lackey, and Harry Turtledove—and has guided Arc Manor to multiple Nebula, World Fantasy, and Prometheus Award recognitions. Before founding Arc Manor, he managed a $4 billion investment portfolio for the City of San Diego and holds degrees in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.
