About us
Community Qi Gong gatherings that deepen our relationship with the green spaces, plants, trees, and living beings around us.
This living exchange is at the heart of Alchemising with Nature—an invitation to expand our awareness and deepen our relationship with the natural world.
How we care for ourselves is a direct reflection of how we care for the planet—and, in return, how the planet cares for us.
We are surrounded by beautiful green spaces full of wisdom. The trees and plants we pass each day are part of our wider family and ancestry. They have witnessed generations, held communities, and continued to offer us nourishment, shelter, beauty, and breath.
Four pathways into presence
GROUNDING BREATHING MOVING SOUNDING
Practising Qi Gong in nature helps us slow down, listen, become grateful, and enter into a conscious exchange of energy with the land.
Come exactly as you are.
No previous Qi Gong experience or particular level of fitness is required. The practice is gentle, slow, and adaptable, so each person can participate in a way that suits their body.
Please tell others and bring people along—especially those who may not get outside very often. If you can offer someone a lift or help them attend, your support could make all the difference.
WHAT WE WILL DO
## Meet the landscape.Meet one another.
We begin with a gentle stroll to familiarise ourselves with the environment, taking time to meet and learn from the plants and trees. From there, we settle into a shared Qi Gong practice beneath the open sky.
The time can be adapted to suit individual needs.
The invitation is not only to visit once, but to form a lasting relationship with the place and with one another.
A WIDER ECOLOGY OF KNOWLEDGE
## Bring the landscapeinto the conversation.
Naturalists, botanists, herbalists, ecologists, gardeners, foragers, and local plant enthusiasts—you are warmly invited.
Come and introduce us to the plants, trees, habitats, and seasonal life of each gathering place. Share a story, guide a short walk, help us notice what is living, or simply join the conversation.
You do not need to lead the whole event. Your presence and local knowledge can help create a richer exchange between community, practice, and place.
HELP THE PROJECT TRAVEL AND GROW
## No fixed fees.A practice open to all.
Every donation supports travel, the sharing of the practice, and the creation of new community gatherings further afield. People are always welcome, whether or not they are able to donate.
