About us
The Queer Coffee Club is a welcoming group for LGBTQIA+ individuals who are seeking community and connection outside of bars, clubs and dating apps. My aim is to create a space in Wollongong where you can connect with like-minded individuals in a safe and inclusive space where we can create lasting friendships, share stories and interests, and have a good cup of coffee.

Drag Brunch for Cancer Fundraiser
The Icon, 10 Town Hall Place, Wollongong, AUIn preparation for the 2026 Stars of Wollongong, Alex is serving up Wollongong’s fiercest drag brunch — all in support of an incredible cause! Because honestly, what better way to raise money for cancer than by having an absolute blast while doing it? 💃✨
All funds will go towards supporting Cancer Council NSW’s programs and services in the Illawarra/South Coast region—such as in home care and transport to treatment, prevention initiatives, local advocacy, the 13 11 20 helpline, and free financial, legal and emotional support.
Come for the brunch, stay for the glamour, and leave knowing you’ve made a difference 💖
