Mastering Bitcoin Weekly

I’ve reserved the back room of a local bar, Crafty Beer Wine & Spirits, for a weekly educational meetup covering the latest bitcoin on-chain activity and core cryptocurrency concepts.
The 10 minute opening presentation will start with a live visualization of the Bitcoin blockchain. We’ll then transition to a topic which is fundamental to understanding cryptocurrency. The visualizations are produced by my website utxo.live which renders daily heatmaps of all bitcoin transactions. The weekly technical topic will be a section of the original bitcoin white paper, a diagram from the book “mastering bitcoin”, a slide from a course I created for Wake Tech, or whatever topic is requested by the group for the following week.
The intended audience are those either curious about the health of the bitcoin blockchain or need a bit of help getting through the mental hurdles required to wrap your mind around this potentially historical change to money.
The venue, Crafty, invites folks to bring their own food and to purchase drinks at the bar from their selection of craft beer, wine, liquor, CBD and Delta-8 cocktails, juices, kombucha, sodas, and seltzers.
Please show up by 6pm to socialize and get drinks. The presentation will start sharply at 6:30pm.
