What we’re about

This is a group for biologists learning to code. Everybody is welcome to come explore with us.
This group is also for anyone interested in deep/machine learning and lab automation for the life sciences. We value open science and organize peer-instructed training events for biologists looking to improve their computing skills. Our community is composed of people with diverse and complementary skills sets, ranging from Phd's in biotech, software developers, students, makers and artists. Everyone is welcome.
This is an emerging field so feel free to propose a meeting. Let's get creative with topics like...
... anything from the pages of O'Reilly's BioCoder
... preparing a company for an Indiebio application

.... use of next generation biolab tools and services like Emerald Cloud Labs, Transcriptic, Riffyn, Synthace, Autoprotocol, Synbiota, Desktop Genetics, Science Exchange, etc.

... participation in the next BioHack Academy
