What we’re about
ReSee Movies is a diverse community of movie lovers, cultural connoisseurs, and fun-seekers, based here in Berlin. From food to live music, we organize events at various intersections of cinema and culture with the hope of bringing people together around their shared hobbies and interests!
We primarily organize movie nights that have an communal element to them, to guarantee that our guests have a movie experience they could never get at home while streaming. We are constantly adding new events to our rotation, so our plan is to use Meetup to help organize them all!
Currently, we organize:
Reel Love: A monthly event at the Filmrauschpalast in Moabit, where we screen films that examine the challenges of modern romance and engage in discussions about every stage of relationship, from first dates to lifelong marriages :)
Films for Foodies: A series taking place at various food and cinema venues around Berlin. Each time, we select a different global culture and pair a film from that culture with a traditional meal.
WanderWatch: A travel-inspired series where we watch films featuring wayward travelers, iconic destinations, and important discussions about the role travel plays in our lives. Guests are then invited to mingle with other travelers, and we do some fun interactive activities to help you plan your next adventure.

Hi Foodie Friends! At long last, we are super excited to finally bring have our second community dinner-and-a-movie night. In the future, we plan to have these more consistently approximately once a month! This time we’re headed to South America to shine our cultural spotlight on Chile 🇨🇱
On Monday, September 15th, just before the Chilean Fiestas Patrias holidays, we invite you to a screening of Machuca (OmeU), a powerful coming-of-age tale which highlights Chile’s stark social divisions and takes place against a backdrop of political unrest 🪖
Before the film, join us at the Kino und Bar in der Koenigstadt (Straßburger Str 55, very near to SoHo House) for a relaxed social gathering with the ReSee community and to savor the tastes of one of Latin America’s most iconic staples: delicious hand-made empanadas served by our friends from Boca a Boca 🥟🤤
