Music Series Launch Event feat. The Matrix (OV) + Dance Party

ReSee Movies is kicking off its newest community film series, this time with a focus on movies with iconic soundtracks and film scores! From techno to folk and from classical to hip hop, we'll screen films famous for their music and combine screenings with intimate live music performances right there in the cinema 🔥

It's only right that we kick off this series with electronic music-focused event, and with a movie that changed Hollywood forever: The Matrix 🐇

For many of us, The rave scenes in the Matrix gave us our first glimpse at club culture, and the soundtracks featuring a variety of mind-bending electronica opened our minds to what music could sound like. And on Friday the 26th, we're going to recreate that feeling with a screening + rave of our own 🪩

The screening of the Matrix will start at 8pm, with live DJ performances beginning after the film and going until late 🌙

About the Artists
Oracle is a Cyprus-born, Berlin-based DJ and lifelong musician. With roots in drumming and over a decade of digging electronic music, Oracle brings his multidisciplinary rhythm to the decks. You can expect your ears to be treated to a wide spectrum of high octane beats that will keep your heart racing and pick up where the film left off.

Growing up in the Berlin area, music has always been part of DJ Hanny's life. After discovering her passion for electronic music 10 years ago, she trained at the Beatheim DJ Academy and has since played at venues across Berlin such as Sage Beach, Minimalbar, and Crack Bellmer. Her sets combine groovy Techno, Indie dance and Tech House, creating an energetic and soulful experience on the dance floor.
