Derby Reviving Forgotten Hardware and Code

We are getting together for a session dedicated to breathing new life into old gear and dusty code. Whether you have a vintage machine sitting in your closet that needs a power supply repair, or you have been tinkering with some legacy software that has not seen a compiler in years, this is a space to work on those projects alongside others who share the interest. We want to create an environment where we can share troubleshooting tips, swap spare parts, and actually get these systems running again rather than letting them gather dust.

This meetup is for anyone who enjoys the technical challenge of retro computing, regardless of your specific platform or skill level. It is a casual gathering, so feel free to bring along a project you are currently stuck on, a piece of hardware you are curious about, or just your enthusiasm for preserving computing history. We will have some workbench space available, and the main goal is simply to help each other solve problems and learn more about how these older systems function.
