CARE meeting on Health

Details
Welcome back! We hope you had a great break and will live to the fullest these last few weeks of Summer.
Our meetings are held at the Westwood Elks Lodge at 523 Kinderkamack Rd. in Westwood NJ 07675, at 7 pm. (come early to socialize or browse the latest literature)
Many of us take our Adrenals and Thyroid for granted - until they get blamed for malfunctioning. Find out the truth of what's affecting these glands. Knowledge will be your power to restore them or to prevent a nightmare chronic condition. Let's address this together as a community and include the brilliant minds of our own members.
We will be viewing purchased videos of top speakers who bring us current discoveries along with truths that have been kept from us for many years.
Here's a sample of our last meeting covering the "Heart":
"Leaky gut" threatens the heart. It is a risk factor for heart disease and this can be revealed with a Zonulin blood test. Address leaky gut ASAP!
The C-Reactive Protein (CRP) test is correlated to heart risk. Even being slightly off it can reveal conditions like candida.
Gum disease has an enormous correlation to heart disease. Even more so, filled root canals in a dead tooth can cause constant bacterial infection (and a 530% higher instance of heart attack. (even with no symptoms!).
Heavy metals are a cardio risk, and also a risk to the brain and kidneys.
Blood pressure meds are a Band-aid. Look for the cause --- and then you can find a solution (this is the motto of alternative medicine). MEDICATIONS cause a whole new set of problems.
Not sleeping well is a risk factor. Apnea makes us chronically low on oxygen (a stress all night).
Sedentary lifestyle is the new smoking. You gotta move, any way you can! Look for jobs that require exercise ---that way you kill two birds with one stone.
LDL cholesterol is a bad indicator of heart problems, as more people die from LOW cholesterol than high. The only important factor is that your HDL must be high enough to clear out the oxidized LDL (after it has done its GOOD jobs) and return it to your liver for recycling. Doctors are not told this in order to sell more Statins (the most lucrative drug in America). HDL should be at least .4 x the LDL (in other words if your LDL is 250, you HDL must be at least 100.
Lastly, visceral fat is a very high risk.
It was recommended to find a doctor who will test these:
Homocysteine (7-9 is good)
Hemoglobin A1C
Fasting Glucose (should be 5 or below)
CRP
Fibrinogen
One of the many doctors (Dr De Mara) emphasized green food for its chlorophyll (chlorophyll powder is also excellent).
He spoke of the importance of magnesium (glyconate, citrate and malate are the most available forms).
Vit D (sunlight)and WATER are vital for the heart. Another doctor emphasized that water is the ultimate detoxifier. He also mentioned how spinal misalignment affects the heart. He suggested lying on a hard floor with a paint roller beneath your neck while taking deep breaths (for chronic stress). Also, learn to say "no" to anything that would be stressful.
When you eat or drink water, think good thoughts on the food/drink. Some people call that prayer. We must be aware if we're eating in a sympathetic state or a parasympathetic state. I would call this a “stressful” state. The TV should be off and attention addressed on how good the food is for you (or other happy thoughts)!
That was just a sample from our first meeting on the HEART. Now we look forward to a meaningful meeting on the Thyroid and Adrenals. See you there!

Harv and Joe
This is our first meeting on the HEART--- don't know how, as it is so important!
